Our Commitment
Praxis is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. We also reference Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act where applicable.
Accessibility Features
- Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard, including a skip-to-content link for efficient navigation.
- Screen reader support — Semantic HTML landmarks, ARIA labels, and descriptive text are used throughout the application.
- Zoom and text resizing — The interface supports browser zoom and text resizing without loss of content or functionality.
- Color and contrast — We use high-contrast color combinations and do not rely on color alone to convey information.
- Dark mode — A dark theme is available to reduce eye strain and improve readability in low-light environments.
- Focus indicators — Visible focus indicators are provided on all interactive elements for keyboard users.
Current Status
We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Our team conducts regular accessibility audits and incorporates feedback from users to identify and resolve barriers. Some areas of the application are still being improved and we are committed to making steady progress.
Known Limitations
While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some third-party integrations (such as video conferencing and chat services) may have their own accessibility limitations. We work with our vendors to advocate for accessibility improvements in their products.
